Back in the gym…

It is always the same, coming back after the holidays is hard. You have to motivate yourself to go back to training and the first couple of days suck…, even after only 2 weeks with little sessions in between… Strict pull ups suck, strict muscle up suck, handstand walk sucks, weights feels so much heavier and and and…

We came back on Wednesday and I went to the box the same night to do the class and weightlifting:

Warm-up 3x
12 swings
9 squats
6 jumping lunges

happy patrick starfish
*do 20 one legged jumps on each leg. Make sure to jump in all directions.
Mobility 2x
1min each
couch stretch each side
calf stretch each side

Basic Strength
Front Squat (1×2)
15min to work up to a heavy set of 2
3×2 @90% of heaviest set
I only went up to 80kg, did 3×2 with 72.5kg

Metcon (AMRAP – Rounds and Reps)
amrap 10
10 box jumps
10 deadlifts 70/45
I still have my injury :(, so I did pull ups instead of the box jumps
8 rounds, 13 or 14 reps…
