Restdays… :)

I visited my parents on the long weekend and kinda did just nothing but rest and ate a huge cake… 😉 I did a little workout session with my parents and showed them some bodyweight exercises like burpees, butterfly sit ups. lunges, air squats. We worked a bit on the ring and I did a couple of strict handstand push ups and practiced handstand walk but it was really just a tiny little bit. I always feel bad about not getting any exercise done but sometimes it is so hard to motivate yourself when you not in the gym or can train next to other people…

Saturday WOD and Skill Training

Warm-up
3x 4 push ups & 6 squats
2x 2min banded hip flexor stretch (1min each side) & 2min ido portal squat routine

2x 3 wall balls & 3 kb squats

Basic Strength
Back Squat
1×3 @60% 55kg
1×3 @70% 65kg (?)
1x max reps @80% with perfect form 10×70 kg I am not sure if I was deep enough, felt heavy today..

RX 13:56 it was the fastest RX time (only me and another girl did RX) but it was a horrible WOD… The movements felt fine, they were just very exhausting because of the amount of them…

In the afternoon I came back to practice on my skills. I did Hang Snatches for the first time after months. Technique still sucks, I went up to 35 kg, practiced snatch drop up to 27,5 kg and then we did some butterfly skill work and practiced some drills. I start getting an idea of the movement but still have no feeling for it. Now I have to stay on and practice them…
